Description

Faithful replica of a Ford Capri RS2600 in racing version. Ford built the first version of the Capri from 1968 to 1973 and produced approximately 784,000 units. The powerful RS2600 version was the basis for use as a racing car in touring car races. In the period from 1970.
The prototype for this model was entered by the GRAB MOTORSPORT racing team in the 1971 24-hour race at Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium. The two drivers, Harald Menzel and Bernd Blank, had to retire due to a lack of oil pressure.
